Britian's THE ROTTED (previously known as GOREROTTED) have issued the following update:

"The Rotted are pleased to announce their new bassist as none other than The Reverend Trudgill, former frontman of eccentric British metal loons SCREAMIN' DAEMON.

The Church Of Daemonology founder has already played 2 festivals with the band and has proven to be perfect for the role, both in terms of commitment and musical direction. He will of course be joining the band this Saturday (30th August) when The Rotted take on the huge task of playing two different festivals in two different countries in one day. They'll hit the Elsrock Open Air in Holland at around 3 PM, before travelling to Beligium to play Vlamrock Festivals where they'll be hitting the stage at around 10 PM the same day!

Sunday, August 30th sees the boys head back to Eindhoven in Holland to play the Dynamo Outdoor Fest where you can see them perform for FREE! So get your arses down for some sleazy, rotten, drunken chaos!"
