According to Gnrdaily.com, Amazon.co.uk is now listing the release date of GUNS N' ROSES' Chinese Democracy as August 25th. It is worth noting that they have previously listed its availability as September 2007, February 2008, and December 2008. Because of this, it is hard to put any faith in these dates. Amazon only knows what they are told by the record companies.

Perhaps more promising though, is the fact that Amazon.com finally, for the first time ever, has a page for Chinese Democracy.
