Swedish technical death metal act SOREPTION have posted the following brief update:

"We can now announce that all the new songs are written for the full-length. It will contain 8 brand new tracks and the songs are of course titled from 5 - 12. You will be able to hear (and see) song number "9" on the DVD-disc that comes with the Illuminate-release.

We will probably hit the studio in August and as soon it's recorded, mixed and mastered you will be able listen to some samples of it on the MySpace site."

As previously reported, Listenable Records has announced that they will be distributing Cube01 Records' debut release from Soreption - the band's new four-track EP, Illuminate The Excessive will be released on June 23rd and features a five-track bonus live DVD

The EP was recorded, mixed and produced at Sidelake Studios Sundsvall by Tommy and Chris Rehn from ANGTORIA for Virtual Symphony Productions. The artwork for their EP was designed and created by Chris Rehn.
