Toronto-based heavy metal band, HAMMERSMITH, is pleased to announce the release date of their self-financed CD debut Temperature's Rising, which will be arriving in stores on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008. According to a press release:, "temperature's Rising is a blistering 30 minutes of heavy metal rock and roll, featuring the pummelling power-trio of guitarist Stephen Mills, bassist John "Bone" Scheffel and drummer Donn Dixon, as well as an outstanding performance by vocalist Hugo Cecereu."

Temperature's Rising will be available Canada-wide at retailers serviced by Indie-Pool, as well as on iTunes and Puretracks. The CD will also be available directly from the band online, and further distribution in the States, Europe, and South America is in the works.

The band will launch the disc with a gig on Thursday, May 29 at Sneaky Dee's in Toronto, and is currently booking shows in Southern Ontario to support the release during the summer of 2008.
