AVANTASIA, CHILDREN OF BODOM, KREATOR, SONATA ARCTICA are officially confirmed for the Wacken Open Air 2008, scheduled for July 31st - August 2nd, in Wacken, Germany. The aforementioned bands join headliners IRON MAIDEN, who are rumored to be resurrecting the Powerslave stage show next year.
