The new U.D.O. album, Mastercutor, has entered the German Media Control Charts at position #39, which is the highest German chart position in the bands history.

BW&BK spoke to frontman Udo Dirkschneider recently (ex-ACCEPT) about the likelihood of any North American dates supporting the forthcoming Mastercutor album (released domestically through Candlelight on June 5th). The diminutive frontman laughs, before whetting our appetite. "Ha ha! That’s a good question, but it’s not always up to us. There need to be some promoters in the US. However, there are lots of changes in U.D.O. right now. After a long time, I have management again. We have a new booking agency. They are talking with some promoters in (North) America, looking for a good bill, a bigger band to tour with for (North) America. We’ll see what happens, but as of right now, it looks very good for early next year."
