It was previously announced that legendary vocalist PAUL RODGERS (QUEEN, BAD COMPANY, FREE) will be releasing his new live CD, Live In Glasgow via Eagle Rock Entertainment.

Details have since surfaced regarding the DVD edition of the title.

Eagle Rock Entertainment will release the DVD version of Live In Glasgow on May 29th and the CD will now surface a week earlier that previously expected, now on April 17th.

Live In Glasgow, recorded in October of 2006 on the last date of his Sold Out UK tour (which included a date at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall), is stunning proof that Rodgers’ voice has gained strength and sounds stronger than ever. This 135-minute DVD, shot with 13 cameras, includes brand new songs 'Warboys (A Prayer for Peace)' and 'Far Distant Shore', as well as songs he has not performed in 35 years, and many of his hits, including 'All Right Now', 'Feel Like Making Love' and 'Can’t Get Enough'. Soulful, bluesy, swaggering, he belts out his songs, and also plays piano and guitar. The band: guitarist Howard Leese (HEART), bassist Lynn Sorenson, drummer Ryan Hoyle (COLLECTIVE SOUL) and 17-year old guitar prodigy Kurtis Dengler.

Rodgers’ growing resume reads like a rock history lesson. This platinum-selling singer, songwriter and self-taught multi-instrumentalist has written, recorded, produced and released 28 albums. He found and led three bands to International Success: Free (1968-1973), Bad Company (1974-1982) and THE FIRM with JIMMY PAGE (1984-1986) and now enjoys a Grammy nominated solo career. In 2005 - 06, he joined forces with Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor for the successful Queen + Paul Rodgers World Tour, performing songs from both catalogues, plus Rodgers’ new song 'Take Love'.
