Italian thrashers IRREVERENCE have completed the recordings for their cover of TANKARD's 'Beermuda'. The recordings took place at Milan's Malibu Studios with sound engineer Stefano "Gerson" Colla.

Irreverence's cover of 'Beermuda' will be included on the upcoming Tankard tribute CD, to be issued with the group's Best Case Scenario: 25 Years In Beers "best of" collection.

As previously reported, at the end of March Tankard will enter the Stage One Studio of producer Andy Classen (DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, HOLY MOSES, DISBELIEF) to record new versions of their biggest "hits“, from '(Empty) Tankard' and 'Chemical Invasion' to 'The Morning After' and 'Space Beer'.

The release date for Best Case Scenario: 25 Years In Beers is scheduled for late June/early July with a special limited first edition to include the bonus CD, A Tribute To Tankard, where 18 bands (inculding SACRED STEEL, MANTICORA, ABANDONED, PARADOX, COURAGEOUS and SCORNAGE) salute and contribute with a cover song.
