The website of legendary British singer STEVE GRIMMETT (ex-GRIM REAPER, ONSLAUGHT, LIONSHEART) has been updated with the following:

"Hello folks! There's no denying that it's a pretty exciting time for Mr. Grimmett and his band of merry men, what with a new album, new record deal and a new website all on horizon!

Not content with simply writing a new record, our Steve has also been making waves across the Atlantic by starring in the new "Grab Your Garmin" SuperBowl Ad campaign.

As previously reported, Grimmett has launched a new project, appropriately-titled THE STEVE GRIMMETT BAND. The band - Grimmet, guitarist Ian Nash, bassist Ritchie Walker and drummer Pete Newdeck - will be entering the studio soon with producer Dennis Ward (KROKUS, SILENT FORCE, PINK CREAM 69) to begin work on their debut album. Three demo recordings ('Enemy', 'Freedom' and 'Afterglow') are available on their MySpace page.
