KISS Attorneys Force KITTIE To Change Name Of Record Label

According to their management, Canuck metallers KITTIE have been forced to change the name of their record company from Kiss Of Infamy to X Of Infamy. The band received a cease-and-desist letter recently from the attorneys representing Kiss Catalog Ltd., the owner of trademarks relating to the band KISS.

As previously reported, Kittie have uploaded four audio samples from their forthcoming album, Funeral For Yesterday, at their official MySpace page. The songs on offer are 'Funeral For Yesterday', 'Flower Of Flesh', 'Witch Hunt' and 'Around Your Heart'. Go to this location to check them out. As well, Macabre Studios have uploaded a video for the title track from the forthcoming Kittie album, Funeral For Yesterday, online. Check out the 'Funeral For Yesterday' clip at this location.

Funeral For Yesterday will be released on February 20th via the band's label, X Of Infamy.

Kittie will do a one-off gig in Peoria, IL on December 8th. The show will take place at the Peoria Expo Garden (501 N Moor Rd, Peoria, Illinois 61603) as part of the WIXO Nutcracker Christmas. Admission is $15.00, doors open at 5:30pm.
