Vocalist Stefan Zell from Swedish prog-metallers WOLVERINE has issued the following update:

"Me, Mikael (Zell - guitar), Marcus (Losbjer - drums) and Per (Henriksson - keyboards) got together and jammed on some new stuff this past weekend. After our short UK tour with ANATHEMA we have been taking it real slow in terms of everything related to the band. Now we felt we had to get together again and I'm really glad we did. Marcus came in with a song that we worked on and it turned out really nice. Of course there's a lot more to do before the song is finished but we have the skeleton and it's a really nice skeleton. We also did some improvised jams that lead to some really interesting ideas. It feels great to be back in writing-mode again and in a way it's the most satisfying part of being in a band. I simply love it!

Wolverine's latest album, Still, was released earlier this year via Candlelight Records.
