Artspublications.net (www.artspublications.net/) announces that Argentinean Journalist/Author Adriana Rubio has been contacted by Writer/Director Eric Moyer from Philadelphia to turn her latest published book, titled Layne Staley: Get Born Again into a movie.

This book has a very profound message related to the life and death of the treasured and talented ALICE IN CHAINS rock singer, Layne Staley, who sadly died on April 5th, 2002 of a heroin overdose. It includes, in full version, the last interview of Staley, revealing to Author Rubio the harsh truth behind heroin addiction. He gave Rubio his blessing to tell the truth on how his last living months were, in hopes that someday people don't do drugs and can understand how painful the every day living of a drug addict is. Although Staley didn't like much talking to journalists, he finally made his sad statement and, Adriana Rubio was the only one from the media who spoke with him just before his death.

Writer/Director Eric Moyer is in the process of writing the first draft of the script. Moyer fully understands the subject and will work in cooperation with Rubio in highlighting Layne Staley’s human side from above the rock star.
