As previously reported, MOTÖRHEAD's latest album, Kiss Of Death, has entered the Norwegian and Swedish Album Charts at #9 and #13 respectively, marking the highest chart positions in both countries in the band's legendary career. More chart entries have been revealed and are as follows:

Germany: #4 (highest entry ever)
Austria: #20
Switzerland: #26
UK: #45 (highest SPV entry ever)
Denmark: #53

In other news, Motörhead frontman Lemmy is currently featured in Revolver Magazine, where Matt Pike of HIGH ON FIRE interviews his idol, and Bass Guitar Magazine is running a feature which includes Lemmy's top five favorite rhythm sections. The October issue of Maxim Magazine's will be the beginning of an ongoing monthly column with Lemmy, where he invests an imaginary sum in a variety of stocks and the magazine will track their progress. The stocks Lemmy chose include the makers of his smoke and drink of choice, since he "personally keeps them in business."

Kiss Of Death is out in the following formats overseas: Limited Edition Picture Vinyl, Limited Edition Vinyl and Limited Edition Digipack with 'Whiplash' added as a bonus track. All songs were written by Lemmy Kilmister (bass/vocals), Phil Campbell (guitar) and Mikkey Dee (drums). Kiss Of Death was produced by Cameron Webb, who produced 2004's, Inferno. POISON guitarist C.C. Deville makes a guest appearance on the song 'God Was Never On Your Side' and ALICE IN CHAINS bassist Mike Inez appears on 'Under The Gun'.
