MelodicRock.com report:

There have been a few questions raised over the future of Rock Candy Records after the label's founders were named as new A&R people for Roadrunner Records.

Have no fear, Rock Candy will continue on.

This from Derek Oliver: "The Rock Candy re-issues will continue unabated - we have DIVING FOR PEARSL + five bonus tracks, JOHNNY VAN ZANT No More Dirty Deals and Storm II + five bonus tracks out in August with Preview, Balance + two bonus tracks and HUGHES/THRALL + two bonus tracks out in September. This is our passion and we will continue the re-issue programme unabated."

And on the duo's plans for the new deal with Roadrunner: "We actually want to make records that stand up right alongside their best work whether that be 10 or 30 years ago - that's a tall order for established acts but we will insist that they put the work in and make records that their supporters will be proud to own. No more disappointments this time around."
