According to the Earthshaker Festival's official website, Finnish rockers LORDI have been tapped to perform as part of the festival's kick-off show on Thursday, July 20th. More bands for the Thursday pre-show event are expected to be announced soon.

The festival will take place in Kreuth, Germany and will run from July 20th - 22nd. Bands on the bill now include HAMMERFALL, OPETH, ANNIHILATOR, COMMUNIC, EDGUY, ARCH ENEMY, SAXON, RAGE, EKTOMORF, TESTAMENT, ENSIFERUM, NEVERMORE, WINTERSUN, DEATHSTARS, KATAKLYSM, BRAINSTORM, THREAT SIGNAL, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER, KNORKATOR, EVERGREY and EQULIBRIUM.

As previously reported, tickets are now on sale for this year's event at a cost of 55 Euros + 4 Euro pre-sale fees. They can be ordered at this location.
