TWISTED SISTER guitarist has scheduled an official listening party for his new solo CD, Axes 2 Axes at The Cutting Room in New York, NY (19 W. 24th Street) on Sunday, April 9th from 7-11PM. Axes 2 Axes is out now through Black Lotus Records and features guest appearances from singers RONNIE JAMES DIO, TWISTED SISTER's DEE SNIDER, JOE LYNN TURNER (ex-RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE) and Terry Ilous (XYZ). Rudy Sarzo (QUIET RIOT) plays bass on two tracks, while Chris McCarvill is featured on the remainder of the album. Drummer Joe Franco (ex-MAGELLAN/WIDOWMAKER) plays on the entire record.

Ojeda spoke to BW&BK recently about the vibe of Axes 2 Axes. “As far as the sound goes, to me it’s just straight-ahead power rock," he commented. "It’s definitely got a new kind of edge to it. Some people say it sounds ‘80s, with a more modern production. But it’s basically just straight-ahead rock ‘n’ roll, and I think that’s always going to be where I’m at. As far as the ‘80s thing goes, that doesn’t really bother me, because that’s the era that I came from. I’m not going to try and be something I’m not – it stays true to the kind of musician I am, and the things that I love.”
