As previously reported, on January 31, Legacy Recordings will release Different Strokes By Different Folks, an album of the timeless hits of SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE covered and remixed by a generation of influential and current chart-topping stars. The tribute features AEROSMITH frontman STEVEN TYLER on their famous track 'I Want to Take You Higher'.

According to StarPulse.com, the 48th Annual Grammy Awards will also pay tribute to the R&B legends with a performance set to feature Tyler and Aerosmith guitarist JOE PERRY among others. The event will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).
