Willie Basse, former bass player with legendary JIMI HENDRIX/BAND OF GYPSYS drummer, Buddy Miles is best known as frontman for the metal band, BLACK SHEEP who were mainstays in Hollywood during The Sunset Strip-era metal explosion. Basse has recently toured across the USA and Canada opening for successful artists like BRET MICHAELS, DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB and ADLER’S APPETITE. During those outings Basse noticed the face of hunger has changed. He explains, “There were capable people out there without jobs, hungry and missing meals. I thought to myself, I’ve got to do something. So I decided to start my own non-profit organization called FeedAmerica-Now.org to help END Hunger.”
Feed America-Now helps food banks nationwide and sponsors Tales From The Sunset Strip a weekly podcast that is Rock & Roll Reality Television and internet radio at its finest. Willie is seeking donations and sponsors to Feed 1000 Homeless People in each city of the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
