Israeli progressive metallers ORPHANED LAND recently commenced recording the follow-up to 2010's The Never Ending Way of ORWarriOR. The album is the first to feature guitarist Chen Balbus, who replaced Matty Svatizky this past June "due to personal issues".
An update from the band states: "We are after three days of recordings already (one in Turkey and two in Israel). So far we "nailed" violins, buzuki, cumbus, 12 strings accoustic + classic guitars, flutes and some vocals for one song. During the upcoming weekend we will rehearse the songs again and again. On Monday next week we will head to Sweden to record the heavy machines - drums, bass, guitars and vocals!"  Stay tuned for further updates.
