Originally scheduled for release on July 10th, All I Was, the first ever solo album from ALTER BRIDGE and CREED axesmith and songwriter Mark Tremonti, will now be available on July 17th under the name TREMONTI. The album is being released via Fret12 Records, a company Mark started with Daniel Tremonti and Tom Stanley.

Tremonti features Eric Friedman on rhythm guitar and Garrett Whitlock on drums. Mark’s Alter Bridge/Creed bandmate, Brian Marshall, will be stepping in for the bass duties when Tremonti performs live. Long time friend and collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette, known for his work with Alter Bridge, CHEVELLE and TRIVIUM, produced the album.

Tremonti has also just announced the band’s first ever-public appearance. They will be playing in Mark’s hometown of Orlando, FL on July 17th. The already sold-out show will take place at The Social and Tremonti will be performing the entire album All I Was at the record release celebration. The band will also be creating a video that will include content submitted by the fans documenting their night at The Social.

Tremonti’s loyal fan base has also bonded together to create the Army of 12. The Army of 12 is an online community that is being used to support the debut album in territories all around the world. Various chapters of the Army of 12 have sprung up in places such as Russia, Canada, Jordan and in cities such as Virginia Beach, Milwaukee and Tallahassee to name a few. The main Army of 12 page can be found on Facebook.

The first single from All I Was is 'You Waste Your Time' and has been creating quite a stir online. The song shot to #10 on the iTunes Rock Singles chart when it was released. AOL premiered the video for the single last month. The video for the song is a performance video that was recorded at Groovemaster Studios in Chicago and actually uses the live audio from that performance in the studio as opposed to the traditional album overdub music video that has become commonplace. The video, which can be seen below, has been viewed over 125,000 times to date. The video also shot to the Top 5 on the iTunes Rock Music Video chart when it was released.
