BraveWords.com spoke with original ALICE COOPER drummer Neal Smith about the band's long-overdue nomination into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2011. Watch for the feature to go online this week. In the meantime, Smith told scribe Mitch Lafon that Alice Cooper and original band members Michael Bruce (guitar/keyboards), Dennis Dunaway (bass) and he have been in the studio and have already recorded "more than one track" for Alice's upcoming Bob Ezrin (PINK FLOYD, KISS) produced album.

Ezrin has a rich history of hugely successful collaborations with Cooper including such groundbreaking albums as Billion Dollar Babies (1973), Welcome To My Nightmare (1975), School’s Out (1972) and Love It To Death (1971) and has, in the past, been described by Alice as “our George Martin.”

Smith also mentioned that the original four will be playing Alice's Christmas Pudding show that is held each year in Phoenix in December and supports the The Solid Rock Foundation which provides recreational centers for teenagers around the Phoenix area. Last year's event featured DEE SNIDER, WARRANT and LITA FORD among others.
