German film company DigiDreams Studios, in cooperation with wXw - Westside Xtreme Wrestling company, has started pre-production for
the first Wrestling-Action movie in 3D format, with the working-title Canned Heat.

The company already confirmed apperance of such famous wrestlers as Bad Bones - John Kay, Murhat Bosporos and Eric Sterling in the
movie cast. Also, Hollywood legend Tom Savini (DAWN OF THE DEAD, CREEPSHOW, GRINDHOUSE, FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, etc.) - who is a huge Wrestling fan - showed much interest in joining this production as well.

Written by Mike Fensore and directed by Oliver Krekel, this film is going to become a great response to movies such as Step Up In 3D, and will be an incredible mix of action, amazing fight scenes and heavy metal music, as the soundtrack for Canned Heat will be produced by Bart Gabriel, international producer and famous music journalist.

Can you imagine a movie in the style of legendary Bloodsport or Rocky in 3D format, with the addition of powerful heavy metal sounds? If yes, then you already know what to expect, a production that takes no prisoners!
