US rockers WARRANT have released a new EPK (Electronic Press Kit), which is available below:

Despite the recent Jani Lane publicity they've been receiving from "AOL, Perez Hilton and TMZ" (check out their hilarious blog here), Warrant - complete with new singer Robert Mason (ex-LYNCH MOB) - are currently tearing up the road in the US with a slew of shows that will keep the band active until the end of the year.

BraveWords.com scribe Deb Rao caught up guitarist Erik Turner recently to discuss upcoming recording plans, and exclusive details regarding Cherry Pie Red Wine.

BraveWords.com: Warrant has been on the road performing at many festivals this summer. Any highlights that you would like to share with us?

Turner: "The summer has been very busy with us playing all over the map. I think it is great to see the die hard Warrant rockers and new fans that have learned about Warrant from Guitar Hero or watching VH1! We are happy to rock n' roll all ages!"

BraveWords.com: Is the band filming any footage this summer for a possible live DVD?

Turner: "You never know when the next DVD will come out. We film when we can and sometime in the future a DVD will come out for all our loyal fans to enjoy and rock out to!"

BraveWords.com: What were some of the highlights from M3 Festival this year? I know the band was on the same bill as the SCORPIONS that night. Was it bittersweet knowing that this is the Scorpions final tour?

Turner: "I have always been a fan of the Scorpions and it was really cool to be on the same bill as them and CINDERELLA. and all the other great '80's bands that night. Scorpions drummer James Kottak was a part of the Warrant Ultraphobic CD and tour, it was great to see him as always!"

BraveWords.com: Any info on Cherry Pie Red, a new wine from Napa country? What inspired the band to get into the wine business?

Turner: "The wine will be coming out this year. More info on that will be coming soon so be sure to check out our website for that at Warrantrocks.com. It happened through a friend of mine and we love wine so it worked out. We tasted many different wines and after a long time we finally agreed on the very best one for the Cherry Pie Red wine!"

You ain't goin' to swing with my daughter no more!

BraveWords.com: Is the band currently in the studio recording? Any word on an upcoming release?

Turner: "We are working on a new CD that will be coming out sometime next year. We are touring so much right now, so we work on that more when the tours slows down. Some really kick ass songs are in the works that we hope our fans will love to listen to! We play one new song ('Sex Ain't Love' is one new title) every now and then at our live shows and it goes over really well."

BraveWords.com: I have noticed the band has taken on a bluesy kind of vibe in some of the songs live. What kind of style will the new Warrant album reflect?

Turner: "The new CD will be just some bad ass, killer no filler, kick-ass Warrant rock and roll! We hope our fans will like it. We are working really hard and we all have all our influences in each of the songs. Nine songs have been demoed so far; in September we will be finishing a bunch more songs to be demoed as well. It's a long process, but hopefully worth the wait."

BraveWords.com: Warrant is slated to perform at Rock N America Festival on July 25 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The '80's revival is still going strong with many new festivals arising this summer. What can the fans expect to see at the show? Will the band be performing any new material at the festival?

Turner: "As far as performing any new material... you never know when that will happen. It would be a surprise. We plan on playing our most popular songs and hits and we won't leave anyone disappointed. Putting your drinking shoes on and come on out and rock with us"!

BraveWords.com: Is there any other Warrant news that you would like to share with us?

Turner: "If you are a new fan or a long-time fan... come see us when we are in your neighborhood for a good time, a good drink and some great rock and roll! Thank you to all our fans that have been there for us. We appreciate everyone! Don't forget to rock and rule your world!"
