The MICHAEL SCHENKER News And Tour Information website reports that MSG have confirmed an additional live date in Tokyo, Japan, on Sunday, January 17th at C.C. Lemon Hall.

As previously reported, a DVD of Michael Schenker's show recorded live at the Castle Donington Rock & Blues Festival in 2001 is due for release on January 26th, 2010 in North America.

Amazon.de reports that the DVD will be available in Germany today, November 20th.

MSG recorded live at the Castle Donington Rock & Blues Festival, in 2001. The Michael Schenker Group is without a doubt one of the most exciting live bands around and this full concert from 2001 is amazing. Michael's band includes Uli John Roth on guitar (ex-SCORPIONS), Clive Bunker on drums (ex-JETHRO TULL), Don Airey on keyboards (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, OZZY OSBOURNE) and Barry Sparks on bass (DOKKEN, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN). Guests include Jack Bruce (CREAM) and Pete Way (UFO). The DVD contains the full show and backstage footage plus five live audio only songs with Schenker and Gary Barden.
