VENOMOUS CONCEPT's Shane Embury, who also plays in NAPALM DEATH, has issued the following update:

"Well, things are going well, having some fun - playing better each day and working out just where we want to take this band in the future.

Getting back to basics with our shows for sure but it's an interesting thing watching people check you out for the first time - this band is of course different to our normal bands and I think that throws people a bit as I guess they expect a lot of blast and not primal poison idea overdrive mixed with Malt Liquor hits and violent twist of Gauze!

Anyway Rome got cancelled tonight due to police shutting down the venue which was a major pisser but as ever thanks to Matt at Hellfire Booking and the promoters here in Genova for taking care of us... we will go and record some new songs for a few split singles - one I hope will be with WOLF BRIGADE and the other stuff who knows just yet but our new record will be done early next year.

Gotta sleep, lots of breakfast to eat in the morning... need the meat to grind!
