Finnish guitarist Mika Tyyskä, creator of The Guitar Shred Show animated guitar tutorial site featuring Mr. Fastfinger, has issued the following update:

"Mr. Fastfinger's guitar blog is back. Long time since last update at Mr.Fastfinger's guitar blog. Over half year... bad, bad, bad. But be aware that for the last half a year a lot of time has been taken on focusing on guitar playing and developing new playing ideas. Studying and learning new stuff. Now it's time to start putting stuff out.

Mr. Fastfinger's album, The Way Of The Exploding Guitar, is out now. It features Jordan Rudess (DREAM THEATER), Mattias IA Eklundh (FREAK KITCHEN), Christopher Godin, Niko Tsonev and Ran Ran du Ran.

According to a press release, the 50-minute album consist of 12 new compostions. Strong melodies and rhythms, energy, joy, feelings and emotions. It is a rock album, but you can hear influences from many styles. From hairy '80's rock to epic soundtracks. From metal to ethnic tones.
