Never at a lost for words, charismatic frontman for Texas traditional metallers ASKA offers his unique perspective. "Next weekend's Pathfinder MetalFest is gearing to be another melt-your-face metal moment for Aska in our bid to get true metal music throughout the USA again, as it has been in Europe for sometime. We've got a set worked up that will feature songs from 4 of our 5 releases and will be doing some songs, like 'Killashandra' from our Nine Tongues CD, that we've not played at any of the festivals we've done this year. Should be lots of fun! And you know us, we'll be there present for the entire festival; if not onstage, then in the audience. We like to meet and press the flesh with our brothers and sisters of metal as this is as much about them as it is anyone.

Hats off to Hoyt and the Pathfinder organization for putting this together. This festival features a who's-who of up and coming metal bands and hopefully it's just the first instalment in a long and successful series of concert events. This is also our first time as a band in the Atlanta area and we are looking forward to being there.

We also put in an order for a run of our ASKA World Festival Tour t-shirts made with the Pathfinder Metal Fest added to the showdates on the back so it should be a nice little souvenir for those in attendance.

As previous reported, the event takes place October 23rd-25th at the Sidelines Sports Grille and Concert Venue in Marietta, GA. Other acts appearing include: RAVAGE, ZEPHANIAH, OBLIVION MYTH, ETERNAL HOUR, ALAS, TYRANNY, VOID OF REASON (VOR), A LOWER DEEP, HALYCON WAY and TWISTED TOWER DIRE.
