Metalville is a band and label pool featuring longstanding industry figures like Chris Boltendahl (GRAVE DIGGER) and label rep Holger Koch. As a department of Flying Dolphin, the Cologne company took care of artists like BLIND GUARDIAN, JOURNEY and TOTO (to name but a few), as well as handling promotion for labels like Frontiers, BMG and Virgin. September 1st they entered into a distribution contract with Intergroove, where Metalville offers artists and labels promotion, marketing, product management, graphic arts, image consultation and distribution through the Intergroove worldwide network. This unique concept takes care of artists and labels that want to handle their products by themselves and do not want to transfer the rights indefinitely to a third party.

The first release via this collaboration will be a special Grave Digger box set, scheduled for this fall, as well as ANUK movie (with DORO PESCH and KROKUS' Marc Storace), then the new ASTRAL DOORS CD (January 2010).

In the US, Metalville is distributed through Warner branch ADA music. In the new year, Metalville will partner with Frankfurt based digital transmitter iMusic1 for a television program Rockville TV. Stay tuned for more info.
