German metal legends ACCEPT have been resurrected with new singer Mark Tornillo (ex-TT QUICK). The band are rounded off by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, bassist Peter Baltes, guitarist Herman Frank and drummer Stefan Schwarzmann. According to their website, a world tour and studio album are in the works.

The management for original Accept singer Udo Dirkschneider told BW&BK last week that "against all rumors there will be no Accept reunion. U.D.O. will play some summer festivals in Europe and come back for a long indoor tour in fall/winter 2009. Fans in the US, South America and Japan should be prepared for an indoor run in spring 2010."
