Italian folk-metallers ELVENKING have issued the following update:

"A new instrumental and orchestral version of the song 'Rouse Your Dream' has been recorded for the movie Little Black Dress (where the original version of the song (from the album The Winter Wake) will also be included as main theme, as you already know).

Australian director Fredric Noah needed more music to be featured in the movie and asked for something around the 'Rouse Your Dream' melodies, so the new song version has been recorded to be featured in the film’s soundtrack.

In mid-December, Elvenking announced:

"Today we have both bad and good news. First the bad ones: Elvenking are forced to lengthen the break from the live activities because of serious family and health problems, as you already know.

We are very sorry to cancel the dates scheduled so far, but we need a little more time to solve these personal problems. We thank you immensely once again for your understanding.

31 - Reggio Emilia – IT

And now the good ones. From March 2009 Elvenking will be back on track.

The shows in Lubeck (DE) and Kerkrade (NL) cancelled in November have been postponed to Spring 2009 (soon to be announced). We have already other new gigs confirmed and festivals appearances in negotiations. We will announce a lot of interesting news very soon.

So once again sorry for the problems in this period but 2009 will bring Elvenking back on track!"
