Dark Star Records has issued the following update:

"Chicago-based metalheads, BLOODSTREAM PARADE, recently concluded recording the first mix of their upcoming debut album on Dark Star Records, The Apocalypse In Retrospect. The band is very excited with how things are coming along working once again with Chris Djuricic from Belle Sound Studios in Racine, Wisconsin. With songs like: 'Blood For Blood', 'Source Fire', 'No God', and 'For Future Eyes Only' (there may even be a surprise on the album too!) Bloodstream promises to get your boots stompin, elbows swingin, fists flying in an old school circle pit like no other. Bloodstream will re enter the studio next month to put the finishing touches on their debut album with a release date on Dark Star Records Summer 2009.

Bloodstream’s first show of 2009 is February 21st at Reggie’s Rock Club, 2109 S. State Street, Chicago, Illinois. Bloodstream will be playing with Dirge, The Doomsday Catalyst and Trials."
