Chris Nelson from Rock247online.co.uk's Hair Metal Haven has issued the following update:

"For the time being and maybe forever Rock247 is offline. The station's management is moving areas and is uncertain about the future of the station. It seems bleak at the moment but despair not, I'm not finished yet. In fact, as soon as the news hit me I was approached by another station Pheonix Radio to continue with my Hair Metal Haven show. I'm just coming to terms with the news and will be back for Pheonix bigger and better than ever, with interviews with some top bands for 2009. The new show will be going out in a couple of weeks time the same time as before except it will be a two hour show this time and not three. Anyway, I'll keep you informed and tell you more and exact times soon."
