According to Gavin Allen from WalesOnline, THE ALARM frontman Mike Peters is planning to stage a charity music festival in Las Vegas next summer (the first fortnight of July 2009) with The Alarm playing alongside rock giants GUNS N' ROSES and RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS. Negotiations are reportedly in progress.

The Guns N' Roses connection comes from Peters himself. The Alarm’s latest album, Guerrilla Tactics, was produced by former GN'R guitarist Gilby Clarke, who has helped organise the negotiations and is using his connections with wildman rocker Axl Rose to broker the event.
