The title sez it all, no? Legendary under-rated thrashers SACRED REICH performing live at the infamous metal fest in 2007, caught on DVD and CD for everyone's pleasure. You can imagine the banter, you can imagine the quality of grooving thrash here, and if you're a fan you can probably imagine the tracklisting (no, there's no '31 Flavors', wise guy). Man, I dig the kinda raw sound and the pure love that comes through it: this is by no means cool-dude thrash, this is old dog metal, tried and true, no pretense, no trends, pure and real (best piece of stage banter: “I'm fat, I don't give a shit.”), just how we like it. Man, tunes like 'The American Way', 'Ignorance' and the classic 'Independent' just sound better than ever. Only complaints are the usual live album ones, but, again, given the name of this damn thing, you know what you're getting into. Fans will dig; non-believers will probably still never got past those strange, strained, nasally vocals that us believers have come to love. This is really a great document of a great band, still going surprisingly strong.
