Wacken 2010 - Headliners As Far As The Eye Can See!

The massive annual pilgrimage that is Wacken Open Air was filled with headlining talent, often competing for fans' attention: IMMORTAL and CANDLEMASS scheduled simultaneously, as were SLAYER and IHSAHN! Where else does Thursday night's triple bill of ALICE COOPER, MOTLEY CRUE and IRON MAIDEN serve as an appetizer for the rest of the festival? Wacken! Only one word is necessary. Over the course of two days, BW&BK trudged the fields, checking out the four major stages to catch international superstars, as well as up and coming bands. A full report will follow. In the meantime, here's a taste of what was on tap, including the likes of SLAYER, KAMELOT, TARJA, W.A.S.P., STRATOVARIUS, EDGUY, OVERKILL, GRAVE DIGGER, METSATOLL and Cleveland's own ETERNAL LEGACY.
