PHOTO GALLERIESKILLSWITCH ENGAGE - Flick Of The Switch
Bankrupt switches were full engaged in the Showboat Casino, located below Atlantic City's House Of Blues for KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's appearance on February 5th. A bare stage (not the usual bookends of Marshall stacks) with drums centrally located and lacking a riser, a ramp providing singer Howard Jones elevated access to wander behind the rest of his bandmates. A series of four flashing, metallic monoliths (think 2001) not only illuminated the band, but provided their own light show. Just three songs aired from last year's eponymous platter, although the fans didn't seem to mind. Energetic, start to finish.
