CHILDREN OF BODOM - Finland's Ambassadors Of Alcoholic Excess Touch Down In Philly

Winding down the current North American tour, CHILDREN OF BODOM - Finland's ambassadors of alcoholic excess - touched down at the Electric Factory, in Philadelphia, PA on October 8th. Despite minimal support and a few obnoxious fans lobbing day-glo fluorescent glow-in-the-dark rave sticks onstage, Alexi Laiho and Co. tore through a lengthy set that included the old ('Six Pounder', 'Hate Me', 'Children Of Decadence') as well as newbies like 'Blooddrunk' and 'Hellhounds On My Tail'. When not standing stage front, guitar poised on his hip, Laiho made frequent sojourns back to keyboardist Janne Warman, who introduced quite a few numbers with brief ivory flourishes.
