Nightmare Metal Festival - Day 2

BW&BK took in the inaugural Nightmare Metal Fest this past weekend (March 21st/22nd) which was held at Bourbon Street in New Port Richey, Florida. In addition to running into Mike Browning (ex-MORBID ANGEL/NOCTURNUS), Day 2 was highlighted by Toronto's own WARMACHINE and organizer Lance King's AVIAN. The Avian set included guest appearances by Wade Black and Peter Blakk (DISASTERPIECE) on a rendition of DIO's 'Last In Line', as well as Zak Stevens (CIRCLE II CIRCLE) for 'Hall Of The Mountain King'. Hamburg based X THIRTIEN, who feature ex-SEVEN WITCHES/ex-METALIUM drummer John Osbourne, brought out Stevens and his SAVATAGE guitarist Chris Caffery for 'Taunting Cobras', Edge Of Thorns' and an evening concluding classic from BLACK SABBATH, 'War Pigs'.
