I'm not surprised at all. It is an excellent album that gets better with each repeated listen. I can't remember exactly where it placed on my list, but if I were to redo it today, it would surely be in position number three or four...
I'm not surprised to see Iron Maiden at the top either, a well-deserving spot for it!
It's always great to see how these lists turn out at the end, and they are always quite vastly different than the writers' year end lists in magazines. Great work, LOAF!

Wow, I have a lot of catching up to do, I don't think I have too many of those albums. Okay, I have two, the new slayer and tool albums.
I thought the latest Katatonia sucked a big turd. God, I hate the direction they're going in as of late.

I must say that I'm surprised that Ministry finished as high as 54. It's a fantastic album, but there isn't much talk of them around here. Nice to see some people loving Rio Grande Blood

I understand that the latest Dissection was not well received by the masses for it's lack of being musically comparable to the previous recording, but I really enjoyed the release. I found the overall content of the peice as a whole to really make the album for me.
