I remember Christ Crusher. He was so damn funny. Every thread he made at the time was some limited underground black metal band I had never heard ofhehehe. I always remember him aquiring copies of the original In Flames albums and put them up on ebay
I also remember when Crimson Idol became mod and a lot of shit hit the fan.
Firefarter and BRI always made me laugh.

Anyone remember Tyrannorabbit's thread (something like) "I'm going to tell you how you're going to die" He listed like every bber and said some bizarro way of how each person would die based on their personalities!

I concur-- the ebb and flow-- the longevity of it-- you could kind of forget about it and then come back one morning and there'd be either a new thread or 2-3 new pages on an old one.

I faithfully read that whole thing like every morning! I was so addicted to iwarrior back then.

Yeah, I could check the board at midnight and things would be slow. Check it again at 7am and voila, GOLDMINE!

Then there was the day I signed up. I'm relatively sure that everyone on the board had a mass orgasm that day.

Yep...maybe not as long ago as anything else mentioned in this thread so far......but that Karoake night at Club Rockit with the picture of MPB wetting his pants was something else. Kicking myself in the ass for not saving that one so I could post it.
I also miss Black Metal Queen.
And Firefarter's old avatar that he doesn't remember having of Homer Simpson with a lit match.
Slowly but surely...the rest of us are getting to the "memories" stage.

Circa 2001-2003I remember the Four Horsment of The Crapocalypse, I think they were Firefarter, Crimson Idol, vinnepinnetje, and darksoulstress. I think they had this toilet paper thread that was pointless and like 20 pages long (back then it was a record). I read the whole thing and remember thinking to myself: "These guys are awesome". The 4 of them would be online like mon-fri, 9-5 kinda deal. Firefarter and Crimson Idol called each other lots of names back and forth back then. Christcrusher was this big black metal guy back then it was more kvlt than now, less fans, so he stuck out and seemed so bad ass. His posts were cold and grim and he wouldn't hesitate to shit on you. Moderators were Metal Demon from Saskatchewan and Featherfall from Nova Scotia. I remember them being pretty level headed mods, very cool. I remember Featherfall talking about "Dead Silent Slumber" as being THE SHIT. So I bought the album, I still love it. Then I remember in 2002 when FIS first arrived and he is probably still to this day the funniest member in Braveboard history. Well, him and T-Rab. Well there's many other funny ones. I remember T-Rab talking about his uncle telling him he looked like Peter Ustinov, that cracked me up. BlackRoseImmortal VS Firefarter around 2002 was legendary. I mean they were killing each other it was fun to read and most of the time hilarious. The most I have EVER laughed to this day on the BraveboardVintress (who was kinda nuts) posted this thread about a game where you name different types of food. She had this long explanation for the thread and basically all you had to do was name a food, and not name the same food twice. She was really adament about not naming the same food twice. So she was like: Vintress: Ok, I'll start... chicken. OneBadWheel: chicken RealDeadOne: chicken OneBadWheel: chicken RealDeadOne: chicken otherusers: chicken I was at work when it happened and fucking tears were running down my face. I was around less and less every year, being involved in the local Maritime scene for a couple of years, getting a girlfriend, etc. I remember Mosh and Venom they were awesome and hilarious too. There are so many more great moments but I'm realizing this thread is getting long. Remember on the old EZboard when a bunch of you took Riptorn's (now NewMachine) avatar, and had a thread called "Not Riptorn"?
Fuck dude - I don't even remember that
Wish I did

Ah, who could forget the infamous Damir.
THis place has cracked me up for years now...so many good stories, hilarious reads, serious discussions, and music talks have happened that it would be futile to try to mention them all.....a more interesting and diverse online metal community I cannot imagine.
