I'm having another hard and painful day. Go figure. I just wish the pain would go away. Sorry to be a downer.

I've been through a similar situation before, and bounced back surprisingly well. This time it's a hell of a lot harder because I just had so much invested in everything, and never expected to be blindsided and hurt like I was. I just honestly didn't think that the person who hurt me was capable of doing what they did. I'm trying my hardest to cope with the loss and the pain, but it's been pure hell.

Thanks. I probably shouldn't have posted anything here, but at the time I didn't really know where else to turn.

Sometimes you just need a form to vent something out. I wouldn't wish that you did not do it look at all the support that you are receiving.

I suppose you're right. I have been getting a lot of support from various members of this community. I want to thank you all for that. It really does mean a lot to me, and it's very reassuring to know that people care about me.

 Re: HATE THEM
Not yet knowing what I want to do during my week off this summer. I have to book it at some point in the next month or so, and as of yet there's nothing I can think of that I really want to do. I've booked it around Heavy TO for the last two years, but they haven't announced a lineup, or if there will even be a show. Considering that Heavy MTL has already announced dates for their festival, it seems like Heavy TO just isn't happening this year. The question is whether or not Heavy MTL will be worth travelling to see, paying for three nights of hotel, etc.

 Re: HATE THEM
I woke up Friday morning with what appeared to be a sprained ankle. I don’t know how this happened. I don’t remember doing anything to it, and I wasn’t drunk or disorderly in a way that would cause me to hurt myself and not recall. This morning, it’s typical day two of an ankle sprain, where you wake up and almost fall down getting out of bed because you for got that you were hurt, and it tightened up in your sleep. Now I am hobbling around the house using an old broom as make shift cane. What the fuck? Ankle sprains suck bad enough when you have a good story about how you got it, I don’t even know what the fuck caused this. This fucking blows, I have things that I need to do today and now I can barley get around the house.

I'm still really hurting, but I'm trying to stay strong and positive. It's definitely not easy to deal with. I obviously can't change the past, but I wish so badly that I could.

 Re: HATE THEM
There is a band on the Heavy MTL lineup called Bookakee. Should give you an idea of the kind of pedigree associated with that fest.

That was last year, but yeah, there are always some awful bands mixed in with ones that I like. Sitting through that awful So Sick Social Club (yes, you can judge a band by it's name sometimes) wasn't pleasant. Sitting through Dillinger Escape Plan wasn't much better. Goatwhore and Exhumed cancelled those two boring fucking bands out, though
