The way you live your life, you deserve a 12.50 GAA and a .100 SV%

i benched holtby tonight, seeing how bad the caps have been. still got the win from bryz (and win and SO from reimer), but wish i'd gotten the double SO and lower GAA.

Hmmm.... On the one hand, it's great that Patric Hornqvist is back. On the other hand, Matt Frattin is out awhile longer than expected. Hopefully Hornqvist helps lessen the blow of one of my best goal scorers being out of the lineup. Of course, I managed to deal Niemi away for Mike Ribeiro in a different league. Overall it seems like a promising start to the week

You really want Heatley, eh Rook? that's like the third offer you sent me. Not even sure who Zack Kassian, o-rank 400+? I dunno if your trying to fuck me but I won't be having any of that. lol I'm not dead last this year so I've wised up.. not doing any trades I'll regret..

Re: The 2013 BBer Hockey Pool - Sprint for the Finish
Heatley finally scored again the other day, and he's back playing top line minutes.
Kassian is dropped to the second line, and he likely will only be that high in the lineup until David Booth returns. At that point, Kassian will go back to the third line and his PP time will likely disappear. Factor in that he's already cooled off substantially as of late...
I don't know that I'd make that deal, either.

Re: The 2013 BBer Hockey Pool - Sprint for the Finish
cooled off perhaps, but heatley's hardly lighting the league on fire with 8 points to kassian's 7. last i'd read, kassian was still skating with the sedins at even strength, though kesler coming back has taken his PP time, he's still skating top line and has value for PIMs. definitely trying to buy low but besides, i never lead off with my best offer anyways, that's what negotiating's for. if o-rank is so important, dmitry kulikov is sitting on waivers for you to pick up (o-rank 169), though you might want to take a look at his current rank (372, to heatley's 188 and kassian's 192).

Re: The 2013 BBer Hockey Pool - Sprint for the Finish
Yeah, the O-Rank is fucking useless, no doubt I do believe Burrows is back on the top line, and that Kassian is bumped down to the second line for the time being. I just don't see Heatley staying this bad for much longer. But I'd be happy to take Kassian off your hands

Ultimately, I'm not really looking for a forward. I'm just curious about Kassian.
My D, however, needs some serious work. Who'd have thought that Jason Garrison would completely shit the bed?

Please do not bring up Keith Ballard. It makes my soul hurt.

This is maddening. Two weeks ago, Tye McGinn was playing on the top line. Today he's a healthy scratch.

He's actually looked good playing with the Flyers though. He plays hard-nosed hockey with sparks of skill.

He definitely fits in the team dynamic. He doesn't have first line skill, but he's got more than Jody Shelly, Zac Rinaldo, and Tom Sesisto combined. Some nights he's better than others, but typically he looks like a young and developing Talbot.
