That 3Beans is wonderful stuff, but maybe a tad to pricy for what it is. I still have two in the fridge though, and would probably buy it again. I just wouldn’t drop that much money on it very often.

I splurged a little bit today and got some new stuff. Six packs of all of these, other than the Great Divide. I got a bomber of that one. I haven’t had any of these other than the Troegenator yet, but that stuff rules.

I think that it was marked for 13.99, so about 15 bucks with tax and deposit. I kind of feel like I wouldn’t bitch about the price if they had put it in their standard 16 oz cans, but going with 12oz cans and jacking the price up is kind of uncalled for. Good brewery overall though, and I did really enjoy that beer. I think that I will have one next.

They probably used the 12 oz. cans because of the 10% abv., but, that's no excuse to jack the price. Either way, I really wanted to try it, and am happy that I got to. And There were only 4 places within about a 20 mile radius that carried it, so that helped me rationalize the price.

Been seeing this around lately at my local LCBO's. Anyone had it before? The ingredient list sounds pretty crazy.

The original Old Rasputin was one of the first stouts to ever really wow me, so this is a special treat.

I had the release last year, it was pretty good. Saw that it was out this time not sure if I will pick it up. Depends on how good people say it is.

Oh man one of my favorite brews, its an amazing IPA.


New to the Chicago area, I thought it was average solid nothing great.

Lastly had a homebrew that I made with my bud, a light American Pale Ale hopped with English and West Coast hops.

That pretty well described every Deschutes beer. Well executed, but average.

I'm pretty sure they took the 'Spring' out of the name this year, so i wonder if we will be getting a new spring seasonal this year from them. This Oddity was their best seasonal by far imo.

It's sarcastic, at least when I say it. I find it amusing when good beer is sold in cans. Not that Torpedo is amazing or anything but it's good stuff for the price.

Having tried to take bottled beer backpacking, I can get it (no pun intended). There are times where a bottle just isn't convenient. Good beer out of a can is better than bad beer out of a bottle.

What I don't get is the aluminium bottle thing. It's just a can in a different shape.

And heavier. The only thing I see it for is so that you can get it colder faster than a normal bottle. Other than that, it is only out there to target the imbeciles in society. I feel like the people who invented it are laughing it up right now.

Nothing wrong with a can if the beer is right. Red Racer is one of Canada's best IPA imo and it's in a can. Poor it into a glass and you'd be none the wiser.

Oskar Blues is a great brewery and everything they sell is in a can. I don't have a problem with cans at all really, but I think when a brewery like them does that, they're thumbing their nose at the elitists, maybe. It's funny to me.

My all time favorite IPA comes in a 16 oz. can.

When you open the can, the immediate area smells like a fuckin' forest. Unreal.

I just wish it was more available in Mass.

calderas orange hopped ipa is in a can and in my top 5 beers ever.
