There's a couple decent tunes, but overall, that is the one album of theirs I don't particularly love.

Why is it that I cannot find a single metal band by the name of Dump Truck? There needs to be a metal band called Dump Truck.

Apparently Nominon released a new album last year. Completely missed that.

Sabaton is playing tonight in Santa Ana and I called the club to see what time the first band goes on and what the line up is because I can't find it anywhere online. Even the club operator doesn't even know.

Re: Random Metal Thoughts-*If Thoughts Could Kill*
I don't think Cult of Luna was meant to be listened to on a boombox. I feel like I'm only listening to like 83% of it because the small speakers just don't support the low end very well. It sounds ok, just kind of punch-less.

Re: Random Metal Thoughts-*If Thoughts Could Kill*
I have only bought three 2013 releases so far but this album is definitely going to be tough to beat as most over-hyped of the year... Wow, so many places praising this album...even comparing it to Dimension Hatross I mean srsly, this album is not very good. It pretty much sucks like the last few 'Jasonic' records. I really don't like this era of the band. It's barely even metal and just not very good. I want to like this like everyone else but I just can't. I can't really say it is disappointing since the last few records were not good either but the gushing over this album had me a little excited that maybe the band finally delivered the goods again....apparently they did not.

Re: Random Metal Thoughts-*If Thoughts Could Kill*
The other two 2013 releases I have purchased so far have been Helloween and Circle II Circle. Both albums are ok but neither has blown me away. I love both bands but these latest releases are definitely a slight step down in quality. Still decent albums. So, so far 2013 has not started off with a bang. Still waiting for that first great metal album...yeah, yeah, I do know its only 6 weeks into the new year.
