I haven't been sleeping very well for the past few days. Whenever I try, it seems like my brain won't switch off and I wind up lying there with random thoughts racing through my head. I'd give just about anything to have a good night's sleep right now because I'm exhausted.

Speaking of not being able to sleep, this graveyard shift shit is really starting to get to me..

I was actually managing to get some decent sleep last night, but I was rudely awakened by one of the cats. He decided to bite me so I'd wake up to pet him.

I walked home from work this morning and the windchill was -40C/F its the same temperature at that level. -16C = I don't have to wear a parka and walk around like a Eskimo.

My moms financial ability. As soon as I could work and make my own money, she's been borrowing from me. When I needed help she gave me nothing, only complained about late car payments (she works for VW, my car payment comes out of her check).

I finally get my money from my dads house, paid off all my debt, got a few nice things and gave my mom four months worth of car payments. This morning I wake up to a message from her saying she blew it all and needs to borrow 300 for rent.

I've been jobless for 6 months just making it by. She has a career, is involved with someone with a career. Why is it when ever I finally have money, she has to borrow it? She doesn't even pay it back, she adds it to car payments which seems nice until you have to realize that this cash is getting me out of my in laws and back into our own place.

Fuck.

As hard as it may be, you need to just stop giving her money. I'm going through this with one of my brothers and everyone in the family finally stopped helping him out. He's slowly starting to fend for himself instead of depending on us.

Thing is, I haven't really given her anything the past year other than the car payments... Like she does repay me through those at least. But I need the cash. I already had toI deal with my Aunt about the same thing. She was my power of attorney since the dealings were in New Brunswick and I obviously didn't feel like hanging around there for months dealing with the matters. Part of the agreement with the lawyer is all costs incurred in the matters at hand were to be recorded and she'd be reimbursed. Now that the money is in, she e-mails me asking for "compensation" for the hours she spent cleaning, driving etc etc.

I've basically told my family to go fuck themselves this week. I've been struggling financially since 18, I'm now 24. I finally have everything paid off, and the means to move out of my fucking in laws house. I'm not sacrificing that for anyone.

I hate when I've already pooped and showered and gotten ready to go on about my day and then suddenly I have to poop again.
