I finally got my hands on a 4 pack of this, and, it didn't disappoint. Nice, big, malty bastard of an IPA!

Been enjoying a few cans of this IPA. Serious IPA drinkers who like a hop bomb explosion in their mouth will probably find this a little lightweight. Fun can design.

Yah it's certainly a lightweight ipa, but I do like how people complained about the art work to be racist.

So I was rooting through my fridge last night and found The Great Lakes Brewery's Pumpkin Ale...so I drank it...I'm not sure how it tasted fresh but it sure did taste mild with a hint of pumpkin/spice in the background, hardly any nose to it.

It was ok, not amazing to me. Sessionable though.

Headstock destroys this beer.

nothing wrong with a session ipa, especially while doing home construction projects with skill saws.

Solid IPA that I buy somewhat regularly when I want a hop fix without dropping much money.

Apparently New Albion is widely acknowledged as the first, or one of the first microbreweries of the modern era. With help from Jim Koch (Sam Adams) this beer is being brewed and distributed again for the first time in 30 years. Bought a 6-pack last night and drank a few. It's good, but nothing special. Somewhat lager-like in color and taste. Very sessionable.

I picked up a 12 pack of this, I loved it last year and am pumped to see it back. It's the best thing that SN makes now if you ask me.

I also picked up a bomber of this great hop bomb of a brew.

I had the Ruthless Rye last year and remember enjoying it, but haven't seen it yet this year.

Love me some Ruination IPA

Yeah i grabbed that too and really liked it a lot. Beautiful label too. I preferred the Torpedo personally. But this is definitely different and great. I thought i read that they had discontinued it though... I must have just read something about it being a seasonal and done for the year.

I had a bunch of Sierra Nevada's in Cali last April and I believe it was the Ruthless that I was least impressed with... :/

I'll apologize in advance for so many pics in one post, but I haven't posted any in a while. These are some of the great brews I've had over the past week, all of them much different:

Guldan Draak - Not much to say. Excellent world class strong dark belgian

Tiger Tripel - Very surprised by this. Not by how good it was, but by the smokey, peaty taste. Very good and very unique.

Revolution Stout - Much better than i was expecting. Solid, and a definite re-buy.

Samiclaus - This outrageous. Seriusly sweet as fuck. Didn't think of it as a dopplebock in the least, but as a barley wine... at at 14%, it's no wonder. Pretty good. I'd like to get more to age.

And then tonight and just cranking into some of these:

On another note, i had the Innis & Gunn Treacle Porter and was very disappointed, as I increasingly am becoming with I&G. They are all just starting to taste the same to me, and while i keep vowing to be done with the brewery, i am always tempted when i see a new one in stores.

I want to pick this up and try it, but its fucking expensive. Haven't been able to talk myself into spending the money on a 4 pack. If I see singles of it somewhere I may go that route.

Fuck ya, I have one in my fridge right now. I'm gonna have it after I drink my Nogne O Two Captains DIPA tomorrow night before hockey. :abbath:

Gulden Draak I missed out on unfortunately. The Tiger Tripel that I tried tonight was really good. I didn't get so much of the peat on it, but it was a tad maltier than I was expecting. Good nonetheless. The Propeller was just ok for me. And as far as I&G go, I'm on the same wavelength as you. It used to be kinda special, but not so much anymore. I guess sometimes with more fans comes less quality?
