This weekend was awesome!

Great times with my lady, and a last minute impromptu birthday celebration at the bar on Saturday.

I as well had an awesome weekend. I am currently sitting back with a tea listening to the spoils of yesterday (Finally got a song fully completed for the EP, sounds fucking heavy [for Power Metal]), and Saturday with the Lady and her broseph was probably the hardest I've ever laughed in my life.

It's Denis' and my first anniversary today... I can't stop smiling and I really can't believe my luck. In just a year he's done more good for me than I've been able to do for myself in 20. And it hasn't even been a year of just us being together constantly... right away we started enjoying good times with all the awesome people in my life and his, many of them BB'ers. Thinking about all of it is making me feel truly blessed. This past weekend was no exception!

It's amazing how much my life has turned around in the past month. I just need motivation to get shit done, and for me, my primary motivation happens to come from having someone appreciate me (that's not family obviously, fuck your opinions, I hate you people ).

Aside from work currently being kind of lame, I received word that the storm will clear in a month or two and then it should be smooth sailing from there.

Also, it constantly amazes me that Tristan not only puts up with me, but sticks around happily...and that is pretty kickass.

I like the fact that I'm on vacation right now and able to finally get us more settled into the new place. We finally got the living room arranged the way we want it, and it is damn cozy in here.

There is some stuff in the works right now that might put me in a new line of work soon. One that will pay about $6/hour more than I get right now. It would also mean a more flexible schedule. Don't want to say too much, because frankly I don't want to jinx anything.

D'awwww! I love reading about how happy you are. Denis is very lucky guy, and I'm glad knowing that he makes you feel every bit as wonderful as you deserve to feel. Congrats on your anniversary. I hope everything works out in the long haul for you two.
