thanks Mandy. So does anyone else know?? Just curious. I am not a huge fan of heights and was just curious of the height difference in the 2 buildings.

the sears tower is the tallest building
the cn tower is the tallest free standing structure-it isnt really a building

ok a google search returned these results:
CN Tower is 1815 feet tall with observation deck at 1122 feet
Empire State Building is 1454 feet tall with observation deck at 1050 feet.
so the answer to my question is doubtful that I would go up the CN Tower

fair enough. altho i consider a free standing structure to be a building.

Just for the record, height of the sears tower is 1450 feet.....and as to the cn tower not being a building, it may not be a giant office highrise, but there is enough internal accomodation etc that it really is a "building".
*Edit* the sears tower height does not include it's antenna array, which is roughly 127 feet.

man, my shoes do not match with that skirt. I have shoes that do, but they're not really made to be walking around a lot in, and besides, they make me 3 inches taller than Justin.

Ive been up the empire state building and too be honest although not as high its more intimidating because the only observation deck is outside and the wind is way stronger than those up the cn tower, they rope half of it off at night because the winds would just knock you on ya arse, but its an amazing view from up there

so the CN Tower's observation desk is inside?? THen I might could handle that. Empire State Building has such wind even in July that it is very unnerving to be up there if you don;t like heights.
