This definitely belongs in the things you like thread, but I figured I'd put it here since it's about what I already wrote. We talked a little while ago and decided to give things another shot because we agree it's worth working things out. I am so happy, and even though we can't spend Christmas together, mine will definitely be a lot a brighter now.

An older co-worker just asked me to explain a joke one of her friends posted on Facebook. Not only am I convinced she still doesn't get it (despite laughing after the explanation), but I'm also pretty sure that I hate myself for not just saying "no."

I am so unbelievably happy, and extremely relieved. The next few months or so are going to be especially hard for us both, due to his very busy schedule on top of the distance issue and what not. However, we're committed to making it work however we can. I'd be with him now if I could, but there are circumstances preventing me from it. Either way, I'm just happy we're giving it another chance. It's definitely worth it.

My sister and her fiance were in a car accident tonight. The car spun out of control on the icy road and rolled into the ditch. The car is a write-off, but thankfully they're both okay because they were both wearing their seatbelts. The only injuries they have are small cuts and bruises. It's just scary knowing that things could have been much worse.
