Meat Christmas is tomorrow

So today I must:

1) work until 2pm
2) go pick up supplies to make the bacon/meatloaf sliders I'm bringing tomorrow
3) go home and get this creation together, trying not to spill the beans to anybody in the group about what's actually in this thing aside from the obvious bacon/meatloaf combo
4) meet up with a few of our group, and do all of the meat shopping for tomorrow

Holy fuck, can I ever not wait until tomorrow morning. Gotta be at Nate's for 8am to start doing prep-work, and then at 9am the drinking and meat ingestion begins

Just gotta get a lift back to my buddy's place so I can pick up my car. I hate leaving my car anywhere, but it beats drinking and driving.

Despite the monumental amount of artery clogging food, dope, cigarettes and liquor that was all consumed yesterday, I suppose at heart I'm a relatively responsible guy

Wild show last night, lots of shit in the pipeline for the new year, dinner with my mom and grandmother tonight. Life is good.

It actually wound up running till about one and people were still chilling over an hour after that. Would have been awesome to see you but I have no doubt you'll make it out one of these days.

In a veeeery similar situation with someone right now and taking a similar approach to it. It's a really solid feeling but there's always the little nagging voice in the back of my head "don't fuck this up don't fuck this up don't fuck this up" etc.
